CN Patil,

 

Is there an older blog that helps explain how to know which formula to use when?
 

I have memorized the formulas, but I have issues selecting the right one for the questions.

Rita should be a good book that will explain EVM , step by step & make sure you do all the practice questions then you should be alright. I pick up all the formulae & understanding from Rita :)

I would advise to practice the maths questions rather than memorizing. The practicing helps you to udnerstand the questions and concepts. For example in EAC calculations you have 3 ways of calculating and each one of them significant based on what is being asked in question.

You can try this website for matgematical questions (take light on the depcreciation questions as they are not asked as maths question in real exam).

Let me know how you feel after going through these questions. You will find lot of information in these 101 questions and do not forgot to review the answer section, and do not proceed further before understanding the concepts.
