If you need to study for the PMP exam, then you have already FAILED.

The truth of the matter is that most people who apply to take this exam are simply not qualified to begin with.

This is not a difficult exam, and those with real experience are able to easily pass.

I couldn't help but laugh when 2 Punjabi fellows had exited the exam center with FAILs after having studied the material for countless hours, weeks, and months.  Did I feel sorry for them? Maybe a bit, but kudos to PMI for preventing such people from diluting the value of this certification.

In my opinion, the percentage required to pass should be increased to 80-85% and above due to the hordes of unqualified individuals trying to get this certification without the appropriate experience.

To those with REAL, TRUE project management experience, this credential awaits you!

 I agree completely

Diluting the pool brings down the price you can command in the market place. The same thing happened with MCSE, CCNA and other certs after they started getting popular.
