How to start PMP preparation

Hi All,
I have just decided to appear for PMP and little confused what/where to start. After reading through various discussions I came to know that PMBOK and Rita's are good choice to start with. Pepole who have already used these books please suggest if I need to read these books simultaneously ? because Rita's have reference to PMBOK pages?
Please guide.

Well, To start PMP preparation you need to follow certain guide lines and set a time limit for the preparation. Yes, what you have said is absolutely right but, without any classroom or online training you can't clear the exam in first attempt. At the same time I suggest you to prepare from
1. 5th edition of pmbok
2. Rita Mulcahy's PMP Exam Prep, 8th Edition.
3. The Velociteach All-In-One PMP Exam Prep Kit.
4. McGraw-Hill's PMP Project Management Professional Exam.
5. Head First PMP.
