Help required in filling PMP exam application

Dear all,

First I would really to like to say thanks in advance to all you as this forum is very helpful, as I am really getting used to it which is why feel easy to ask question here!

 

I just wanted to confirm below

- As I failed in PMP exam in 2013, afterwards did not try it for till now.

 

Recently, I started gearing up for PMP again. I want to know can I show different experience in terms of hours and different project in my new application? Will this affect me putting into auditing? Is there any link between new application and old application experience data, records?

Hi Nspirzada1346,

I used PMP-Application-Assistant excel file to fill experience there. I prepared experience details for past 6 major projects. However, after adding experience details only for first 3 projects, the application is accepted it and didn't allow adding rest 3 projects. 
I think no one can answer you to the question "If experience will be different in data of new and old applications, will it put me into auditing?."

However, I recommend you put on your new application only the realistic experience data and in case of audit, you will not be worry and can stand for it.

Did you have 4500 hours from your first 3 projects and where can I find PMP-Application-Assistant excel file that you mentioned in your post?

Yes, exactly, I had more than 4500 hours from first 3 project. They were really big projects.

Minimum three years/36 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 4,500 hours were spent leading and directing the project*
*Leading and directing the project as identified with the tasks, knowledge, and skills specific in the Project Management Professional Examination Content Outline. You should have experience in all five process groups across all your project management experience submitted on the application. However, on a single project, you do not need to have experience in all five process groups.
