Getting the values of EV,PV,AC on an S-curve
Submitted by Latunde on Tue, 05/13/2014 - 04:05
Hello, am having issues interpreting the values of Ev, PV, AC on an s-curve diagram how do I process this to get the values from the graphs.
regards.

Its easy to understand with good background in mathematics.
In S-Curve graph:
X- axis --> assume Time-Phased Cut-of-date % of project work.
Y-axis --> assume accumulated costs.
Draw Costbase line ---> y-axis --> Projecct cost BAC x-axix---> % complete= (PV)
Draw Actual Cost line --> y-axix --> AC x-Axix---> x-Axis ----> % complete= (EV)
You can read the above link to understand.

It's a good one but the graph
It's a good one but the graph wasn't depicted am actually looking for the graph with an interpretation I understand the concept just want to know how to figure out the Earned Value metrics from the graph.
any additional link or site for referral will be highly appreciated.
thanks.

Oh great @jpawl really like
Oh great @jpawl really like this one. But it doesn't have values on the graph to calculate with it just shows how to get calculation which is good just want to see a practical example with figures on the graph to calculate with soo I can know exactly the points on the graph to pick the values from with regards the getting the actual values of the formulae shown. I hope you understand?
