Figure 2_2, impact of variable wrt time
Hi
while looking this picture,
Cost of changes Graph or Progrssing line or Trend of cost of change or Nature of curve, -- Is it correct?
It might be caught by financers or certain analysts.
It is not important for passing exam, but it is worth to discuss for such a reputed standard and institute.
Cost of changes - it is a cumulative graph, and it is true that it will be incremental with the project time passed.
But my point is here as the time pass changes will certainly become lower and lower side.
Hence graph will rise but not in accelerating order but in retarding order.

Practically I have always
Practically I have always seen that with time changes always increase, since the business users learn more about the system as they are developing it they also learn more about the Technology and find new ways of User interface etc... in majority of cases ( almost all I have seen) Changes increase as the projects progress.
Hence we need CCB to control and approve the changes which are relevant to business case of the project.

Hi, My experience has been
Hi,
My experience has been like this: If we take in to account the changes after the stabilization phase, even if the number of changes are considerably low, the Cost of those changes are relatively high, because of its effect on the whole project and other dependent factors.
