Failed PMP Today
Hello, great forum and unfortunately just discovered it today. Today I failed the PMP exam. I scored moderately proficient in every category except Monitor and Control. I honestly thought I had passed the exam. The only study aide I used was RMC's Fast track test prep and the questions were very close. I also listened to about half of the PMprepcast epidodes and they are also very good. I only studied about 40 hours total the last six weeks so I am to blame for failing test was not that difficult.
My question is does anyone know how close I was scoring moderately proficient in all categories and below proficient in monitor and control?
Thank you for the input..
Tips: formulas are a waste to memorize beyond CPI, SPI, CV and SV. Know the ITTO's. I

Hi
Sorry to hear that you could not clear the PMP exam.
I am not sure if there is a way to identify that how close you scored.
I'd advise that try and understand if there are any specific gaps between your understand of process Area and expectations. Rita's book has those tables with each chapter which helps one to understand the gap.
All the best for your next attempt.

hi
sorry to hear that you failed in pmp exam. i think you should take some training for pmp exam from PMI's R.E.P. knowledgewoods is the PMI's Registered education provider(R.E.P) and provide very good training for pmp examination. they also provide books, mind maps, pre and post training material, 2000 questions question bank etc.
i think that after taking the training from knowledgewoods you will surely pass the PMP exam.

Pick up Rita Mulcahy's "PMP
Pick up Rita Mulcahy's "PMP Exam Prep" (6th edition). That was the most valuable tool to help me pass the exam. I'm sorry to hear that your test didn't go well, but on the bright side it costs a lot less to retake the exam.
