Experience requirement in PMP Application
Hi guys,
i am in a very confused state of mind and would be greatful if someone cud advise me here.
I have experience of working in a bank as a planning analyst for over 4 years. My job role consisted of the tasks which i can easily put in 3 process groups of project managment i.e. planning, executing and monitoring & control.
Along side that in the same period i have also worked on a couple of smaller projects from end to end i.e. Tasks from all 5 process groups.
Now i have been advised by one of the trainers here that i can write my job experience as one project to make up the 4500 hours (as other complete projects that i have done are only few hours). She said that althogh it was an ongoing job, still the tasks performed come under the PM umbrella so i should write the PMP exam and not CPAM.
Please advise if it wud b the right thing to do?

yes you can do that. The main
yes you can do that. The main intent is to show that you have spent 4500 hours on project management activities. If you bundle as 1 project its easy for you when audited.
