Evaluate my preparation, please
Hi guys - My exam is on the 3rd and would appreciate if you can evaluate my preparation and suggest me what all I can do in the last 5 days. My mock scores are:
Head First - 85%
Exam Central - 75%
Oliver Lehman (75 questions) - 70%
Oliver Lehman (175 questions) - 75%
PM Study 1 - 70%
PMP for Sure (100 questions) - 67%
I actually am pretty disappointed with the PM Study and PMP for Sure scores, thought they had pretty hard questions. I am planning to review the gaps and focus on ITTOs for the next few days. Anything else you suggest I should be doing? Should I be taking more mocks? How does the scores look?
Thanks.

Hi, Dont feel
Hi,
Dont feel disappointed. Your overall score looks good. By now you might have known the Knowledge areas and process you are strong in and the places where you need bit more effort. Concentrate on areas of gap.
Other Mock exams you can try:
You can prepare braindump of the areas which you feel you are weak and practice them over.
Many a times not reading the question full will be the problem. Pay attention to the words like "NOT", "EXCEPT", "FIRST thing to do", "BEST thing to do" ...etc and some of the key words which will give you the hint. For example in the question:
You are involved in a project for manufacturing ball bearings. You notice that the quality of the ball bearings produced has deviated from the parameters specified in project management plan. In order to bring it in line with the specifications, you initiate measures, which are referred to as:
Here the keyword is " in order to bring it in line.... " and hence, there is a hint towards "Corrective action".
Hope this helps.

Thanks. I have done the last
Thanks. I have done the last 4 exams from Scordo as well, scored 73% in those. Will try to finish questions from Anbari today and continue to focus on my gaps. I think my score in PM Study and PMP for Sure could easily have been 75+ if I didn't made so many stupid mistakes, which makes me feel pretty angry at myself, ugh!
Any more hints/tips you guys can give me, I'll appreciate that.

Hi Anand - Thanks for your
Hi Anand - Thanks for your advice for trying out the questions from Frank T Anbari. They were relatively easy (I scored 88% on them) but thought they cleared my doubts and helped me establish the concepts in a great manner.

Focus on Gaps and Review PMBok in last mile
Hi Jay22,
In my opinion your scores are quite good. By now you should have an idea of your weak areas. I would suggest to focus on these, especially the questions you got wrong in the mock exams.
From my experience, it is not about how many mock exams you do but learning from your mistakes. Understand why you got them wrong and review the concepts in PMBok or other study material you have to grasp it fully.
I would suggest not to attemtp any mock exam 1-2 days before your real exam: you could teint your confidence if you score low. Rather read PMBok, review formulas, review key concepts such as Motivation Theories, Quality Theories and also the process map from page 43 of PMbok by knowledge areas and process groups. Pay attention to Quality, Risk and Procurement if you have weaknesses there.
Relax before the exam, believe in yourself and don't overstudy !
Good Luck,
Brahima, PMP.

Thanks, Brahima. I am not
Thanks, Brahima. I am not planning to take any more tests and just want to focus on what I know and not try to learn anything new in the last 4-5 days. These tests have helped me identify my weak areas and I plan to work on those now.
