Early termination question

Bill is the project manager of an external project for a customer. The project is expected to take about a year to complete. Six months into the project, the customer informs Bill that the project needs to be scrapped. During which of the following processes would procedures be developed to handle early termination of a project?

  1. Develop Project Charter

  2. Close Project or Phase

  3. Define Scope

  4. Close Procurements

The answer's C but I think its none of these. Early termination clauses are developed when contracts are developed or finalized....and it's not written here as a choice.

This question is from Scordo...anyone who can help me get this right please??? Appreciate it!

I would say answer is B.Close Project or Phase

Please check PMBOK Close Project or Phase process . which Set/Q# is this from Scordo?

Later I went through the book:

B - The Close Project or Phase process establishes the procedures to investigate and document the reasons for actions taken if a project is terminated before completion. [Refer PMBOK 4th Edition, page 100] [Project Integration Management]

Apologies....the answer was B and not C. I mistyped it. It was from Scordo Set  # 15

Thank you for helping me out! Guess I uncovered a  gap...

Why Not Close Procurements , since this is an external project ?

Bill is the seller's PM in this question. Procurements activities are performed from buyer's perspective.
