delivering late or cut scope?

hi...
Through the variance determining, you discovered you gonna be late in delivering your project, as a PM, you have to choose one of the following choices:
- Cut a part of the scope, so you can deliver on time.
- Deliver late but with completed scope and other requirements.
So what will you do?

First option is to deliver
First option is to deliver all the scope but it would be better to inform the customer and let him decide which is more important, delivering on time or delivering entire project scope
