Critics of the book " PMP practice makes perfect" v2012

I have mostly read good critics of this book, which said that the tests are really representative of the real PMP exam. Is-it true?

If so, I am a little disappointed by the test, see below some of my critics:

  • Questions are ordered and grouped by project management knowledge areas: questions related to project integration management knowledge area, then questions related to project scope management knowledge area. This makes it easy to answer the questions, it narrows down the possible answers to a specific knowledge area. Does the real exam follow this pattern?
  • Questions follow exactly the PMBOK, there is not really any need to think or interpret the question. If someone learns the whole PMBOK page by page, he should be able to pass the test. I have tried other mock tests and they necessitated to use the PMBOK knowledge, to apply it to the questions, and to figure out the best answer. Does the real exam follow this pattern?
  • Some answers do not make sense. I have posted several topics in regard of that this last week.

In conclusion, it seems that to pass the text, I only need to learn by rote PMBOK and that's it...

how many questions are there?

  http://www.amazon.com/PMP-Practice-Makes-Perfect-Questions/dp/111816976X

The book contains 5 sets of 200 Q&A, it is supposed to be a mock test.

It is pretty recent, 2012.
