CPD Project Director

Anybody heard about and can recommend this certification and provider --> Certified Project Director (CPD)

Stated PMP as a possible prerequisite, sounds like something to achieve after PMP in Project Management.

I  have seen the web site, it is quiet impressive, the main target audience for the Certified Project Director (CPD) are Project Managers who want to upgradge themselves as a Project Director.

Mainly the CPD credential is offered for those who are involved in managing, handling or directing multiple projects, one thing that made me happy is the fact that CPD exam is delivered across the globe via Pearson Vue network, I will try it out this one in the comming month at my nearest Pearson Vue Testing Center in my region.

I have also seen the Certified Registry, there are nearly 8 Certified Project Directors upto till date, but the other credential i.e. Professional in Project Management (PPM) (PPM-001) which is also delivered across the globe via Pearson Vue Testing Centers is impressive unlike PMP which has 10 modules the PPM has nearly 14 modules, and there are many Certified people across the globe holding the PPM Credential
