Hi,
Just curious to know answer to a question.
PM receives a cliam from seller for the report requested by a team member . This report however was not part of contract. Should PM deny the claim citing the contract or should he/she make the payment and assume the work is authorized even if a team member just asks for it?

From my point of view, if the work is not part of contract/plan, then the PM need not pay...any work requested should be part of contract and if it is not then seller has to make sure that a CR is for the same is raised and proper contract change control process should be followed and agreed by both parties
