communications

Hi ....

quting from pmbok5th,page287 ((project communication management includes all the processses that are required to insure timely and appropriate palnning, collection,creation, distribution, storage, retrieval, management, and the ultimate disposition of project information)) .

Now how come that ((request changes)) is an outome from control communications process, where it should be monitoring communications, so to make sure stakeholders information needs are met, and to update communication management plan which is the main purpose, while acting upon those information by requisting changes should in another process, in change knowledge area, don't you think ????

 It’s hard to follow your English but I will try to help.  There is no process called Monitoring Communications.  Control Communications process is part of the Monitoring and Controlling process group so it makes sense that Change Requests can be an output, just as it is an output for most of the processes in the Monitoring and Controlling process group.

Ok ... that's right, monitoring and controlling processes like control communication process should be monitoring and controlling communications, so that the request changes generated from this process should be focused on enhancing communications .

what we see in the (PMBOK) is that ((control communication process involves the activities that are required for information and communications to be monitored, acted upon and released to stakeholders .))

the only thing that i'm objecting is that we should lose the ((acted upon )) part, because it's not logical to act upon project performance data using a communication management process ... don't you agree ??
