Hello,
I cleared PMP examination yesterday. I thank all of you and your prayers for the same.
But i was astonished to look at my results. I got 3 BP and 2 MP's, though i cleared.
Is this possible ?
I am waiting for a final report from PMI.
Regards,
Kedar

Yes
Yes, once I learnt the same through a post where the gentleman had scored 3 BPs and 2 MPs and passed. I also know where the man passed with 2 BPs but 2 Ps and 1 MP.
Strange are the ways of PMI. What can you say when a legend like respected Pawarji Sir bites the dust :(
So, may be PMI is trying to prove studies and hard work is secondary. What matters is the day and time of taking the test. There are days and then there are some more days :) :) :)
You please enjoy the moment and don't worry on anything else. PMI is not sending you any report. Just your passing / final certificate and few memorabilias.
Warmly, KK...

This is quite possible, ever since PMI
This is quite possible, ever since PMI has removed the marking strategy and implemented some non-disclosed techniques, its possible.
They have also mentioned something like psychometric analysis for evaluating your result, what this means is that, tough questions can have higher marks for grading and hence your passing percentage marks decreases based on the question complexity.
Every mock test will give you result based on overall percentage and this is not true with PMI calculating the PMP result.
Instead of getting deep into these, have fun that you have passed and I keep telling people if you can secure 65% or more in all five process group, you will pass the PMP exam.

Kedar,Here's an abstract from
Kedar,
Here's an abstract from the PMP score card:
Understanding Your Exam Results
Your exam results are reported in two ways:
1. An overall pass/fail result score is generated based on the number of questions you answered
correctly.
2. The second level of results is the assignment of one of three proficiency levels to each domain.
· Each domain is assigned one of three levels of proficiency - Proficient, Moderately
Proficient and Below Proficient - based on the number of questions answered correctly
within the domain.
· This provides direction about where your strengths and weaknesses fall.
Point # 1 clearly says that the overall pass/fail score is based on the number of questions answered correctly. And point # 2 says that the second level of results(i.e. domain proficiency) is to provide direction about your strengths and weaknesses. And my sense of language comprehension says that these two levels aren't interrelated. If they were, PMI wouldn't have separated them into two different levels in the first place.
