I cleared PMP last friday by God's grace. I would like to thank my wife  for all her prayers.

Here is my preparation plan and it is not so great

I enrolled for the course on mid Feb and took a lot of time time to schedule an appointment for the exam

I used to study for 2-3 hrs during the week days and 5-6 hours during weekends

I studied PMBOK 3-4 times and then followed up with Rita. Some of them have parallelly studied both PMBOK and Rita. This might also work out properly. You need to be very thorough with PMBOK and should have an understanding of Rita

Regarding the exam I would say it was not so easy or tough. I hardly had time to review the answers it was running neck to neck. Do not try to memorise the ITTO's you will confuse yourself, instead try to understand the logic as to why this appears in this process group and not on the other. The probing and finding out rootcause will fix lot of problems that you may encounter.Make use of websites like youtube which will give a clear verbal explanation of various concepts. Please make use of these refernces to the max possible extent

Please take up lot of mock tests from PM study, simplilearn, pmpforsure.com. Give equal importance to all the process groups. Note down all the dobts that you encounter and try to find answers, this is the only way for effectively preparing for PMP. Be thorogh with the concepts and ensure that you quickly answer questions which you feel is easy. Try and understand the questions properly and read all the options and do not jump into conclusion. These small tips will help you score well in the exams
