Change Requests 4.3.3.3 VS 4.4.3.1

Dears,

I am unable to figure out the difference between the above 2 outputs of the integration Management Processes 4.3 and 4.4.

Could you please support?

A change request is an output in Executing and Monitor & Control Process Management Processes as when work begins a change is possible. The Change Requests are an input to Perform Integrated Change Control.

Think of a situation in a project that needs a change. Did the change result from an observation as you are working with your deliverables (4.3.3.3 - you're observations) or as the result your analyses of performance (4.4.3.1 - your data compared to the plan)? That's the only difference. As already stated, understand what the process does rather than trying to memorize ITTOs. Think of the processes on p61 (PMBOK5) as labels for what you do already.
