I was comfortable using the computer calculator (calcer) however I asked them this just in case and they said they had physical calculators that belonged to Prometric they could provide if I wanted one.
After failing my 1st attempt 5/6/2013 with 3 BPs and 2 MPs one of the things I struggled with was actual time management during the exam. I barely made it thru the 1st pass. One of big my lessons learned on time mgmt. for the exam was that I was writing down too much about a lot of the questions on the scratch paper taking away from question time. Then the next day after talking with someone who does a lot of CADD work she said how using the computer calcer for her anyways is slower than a good old fashioned calcer.
So since I will be taking again and at the same center I will ask for use of Prometric's physical calcer to help me even if only a couple minutes or two, that's two more questions I could review.
A little more on my failure. I'm more Quant. and actually love those formulas so guess which areas I did MP in? Planning and M&C where most the calcs. are. I can do Qualit. but not as intuitive. So I'm working heavily on it now thanks to all the great tips on here. Thank you everybody.
I felt like I studied very hard for my first attempt (almost 85 hrs.) up to exam time but afterwards knew I had some weaknesses that need to be addressed. It really didn't help that I got a 79.5 a few days before my real exam on a Rita mock and a 77.5 the week before that boosted my confidence. But now I realize I need more and more practice tests and from different sources.
Where I gave the exam they did not provide physical calculator, Just on screen calculator, I did not find that in convenient either, My Personal preference is, I like onscreen better than physical calculator , Because you can see calculator result and your choices on screen side by side, So in case you need rounding its better 6to compare side by side than looking up and down, That’s just my personal preference, But I can totally understand that some folks are more used to physical calculator than on screen

No, you cannot
The Prometric does not even allow your personnel keys, wallet, handkerchief etc. You can only carry the locker key and your photo id card inside.
You have no other choice except to use the inbuild calculator like we have in our computers.
