Audit process

My elegibilty period expires after 40 days, i have not yet paid exam fees. I come to know that audit process is bit longer, what should i do? should i wait for expiry of my current application and apply again?

Afaik, the time spent in clearing the audit is excluded from your eligibility period.

For example, if you get audited today and clear the audit in 30 days from now, your 40 day eligibility period would again restart from the day you clear the audit.

 Why do you feel your application will be audited?. The auditing process has nothing to do with your eligibility period.
