Audit

I got selected for an audit. My current boss has signed off on all my projects. I sent an email to my former boss where I put ~1800 hours on what I considered to be a long term project in the 1.5 years I worked there. My title was market analyst but I felt on this I lead the project. He responded by saying "Good to hear from you. HR need to handle stuff like this, and they have it and will respond no issues. Hope all is going well." I have no idea what this means? Any thoughts? Do you think he means he approves and HR will handle signing or doesn't approve and is passing the buck to HR to reject it?

Can you have a call with him or HR to clarify.?

Not really. He is very busy. I don't know who on HR to call. I'm pretty nervous about it all.

Fine... he is busy but I think he is passing the bucks. Try to call him directly.
