The next certification you take should be relevant to your job or career aspiration. For eg.

  • PMI ACP - if you want to be in Agile
  • Risk management - RMP  or similar
  • Schedule managment - PMI SP .

PMP and Prince 2 are generic certifications. Other certifications are more specialized and will brand you in certain domain as an expert. So you should be careful in what you take next.

People in education field generally take all certifications possible , because it gives them fungibility to take other trainings.

As a practictioner you may not have to take other certifications unless really required.

After PMP generally people prefer PMI-ACP, so you can go for PMI-ACP or CSP(Certified Scrum Professional)

Hi Hussain,

If you are going to choose PMI-ACP, Be aware of that PMI-ACP exam is changing in 2015. A massive survey of accredited PMI-ACP holders and non-accredited agile practitioners approved some alterations regarding domains, knowledge and skills as well as tools and techniques.

The new domain is added to the delineation (Agile Principles and Mindset) where in 62 tasks have been approved with a back drop of the seven domains of procedure/practice.
