1st Attempt PMP, Lessons Learned - Detailed
I recently passed the PMP exam. This certification is well known and recognized. It is equally difficult. My story attests that it is doable if you are willing to do the work. I published my notes of my path to PMP success as a starting place to help others along the way. Please know there are many others besides my own, and many very capable and willing folks to help you.
One of those helpful people is Richard Kraneis. He has a great method for memorizing the 47 Processes, and I found it very helpful. Learn more at www.RichardKraneis.com I purchased the spreadsheet Mr. Kraneis developed, and highly recommend it. It helped me a lot in the final stages of taking my exam. I wish I had discovered www.RichardKraneis.com sooner.
My notes, including my use of Mr. Kraneis' material, is found at: www.maynardonline/pmp Good luck! You can do it!

Thanks Russell
Russell,
Thank you so much for mentioning my website at www.RichardKraneis.com . (And thanks to PMZilla for this community website.)
When I passed the PMP in June 2013, I decided to do YouTube videos which led to helping people pass the PMP test on my website.
One essential step to passing the PMP is memorizing PMP's 47 processes. You can get access to my PMP YouTube video for memorizing the 47 PMP processes on my website.
Thanks again to Russell for his kind words.
Best Wishes to All in Passing the PMP Test,
Richard Kraneis, PMP
