Why PMI ACP maybe a good option after PMP

  • One of the recent Gartner report , there is a prediction that 80% of all Software projects will be using Agile in coming years. While means there will be a shortage of Agile Project managers or Scrum masters.

  •

  • Traditional Project managers find it difficult to manage Agile projects and it really needs experience or skill before you can successfully deliver your first Agile project.

  •

  • The PMI ACP certification will cover all the Agile methods including Agile Scrum, XP, Lean, Kanban and like other PMI Certifications, one has to clear the eligibility criteria. Which means not anyone and everyone can be ACP

  •

  • If you start early and become early adapter to ACP, you will have an differentiator in your career since almost everyone is a PMP now.

  •

  • The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)SM Certification exam is definitely something worth considering after PMP

What percantage of ACP questions are already covered in PMP OR they are altogether different?

What i understand is PMP and PMI_ACP is different... where PMP is for Project MAnagers but PMI-ACP can be done by team member also.

I got very useful blog on this subject... you may like to refer it..
