Which of the following is incorrect regarding a bidders conference?
Questions from each seller should be handled confidentially and not shared with other sellers.
No bidders should receive preferential treatment, even if they are part of the company's existing list of approved suppliers.
Bidders conferences should not involve face-to-face meetings
All prospective sellers should be allowed to have a common understanding of the procurement.

My answer is D
We did the same lst week while floating tender of internet leased line by calling all the telecom operators and discussed the requirements in a combined conference meeting.

I believe there is a mistake
I believe there is a mistake in Scordo which says A
A - A key objective of a bidders conference is to ensure that all bidders have the same level of understanding of the procurements. Hence, in order to be completely fair, buyers must ensure that all sellers hear every question from any individual prospective seller and every answer from the buyer.

Please refer to 12.2.2It says
Please refer to 12.2.2
It says every one should be have clear and common understanding of procurement. This can be be achieved only when buyer shares the information with all sellers and there is no need of maintaining confidentiality on queries.
Thanks

Don't know about pmbok reference
Ya this is where real exp helps. Whenever we tend to float a tender in our company we used to call all the sellers before finally floating the e-tender on our portals.
Regarding pmbok- i nevr studied it . Its a sleeping pill. I m preparing from Rita, Andy Crowe and Sybex.

@ san, plz read carefully
If u r giving the reason - "all bidders should have same level of understanding of the procurements and should not maintain any confidentiality with other sellers". Then answer must be D not A which i suggested earlier.
Plz read carefully.

Option A is correct; but
Option A is correct; but when you look at option C - it's an incorrect option too. Bidder conferences can be F2F. So why not the answer to be C?
Is option A selected because its there in PMBOK?

Answer is A
Answer is A Check section 12.2.2 at PMBOK.Book mentions that "buyers must take great care to ensure that all prospect sellers hear every question from any individual prospective seller and every answer from the buyer" so there is no place to accept confident questions or hide them from other sellers
