PDU and Contact Hours

 Hi PMP Aspirants,

I just got my PMP certified. As my company do have Internal Knowledge Base Website (Skillsoft), and there is a list of courses which eligible for PDU but not contact hours. Do we need 60 PDU or 60 PDU and Contact hours?

for continuing credential requirement -- P 32 onwards

Hi,

You need to have only 60 PDUs. It can be also obtained by taking different online courses from many a training providers such as PMstudy, Global Knowledge, etc. There are also many posts available in PMZilla as well mentioning many a ways to obtain these PDUs.

 Sorry if I confuse you all. I did read abt the handbook and follow the ways to obtain PDU. What I meant here is that my company did have a knowledge center website which is registered with PMI.

I checked and found some of the courses do have 2.5 or 2 PDU .. but No contact hours. For me to obtain the PDU, do this course take into account for PDU even there is no contact hours.

 IF YOU HAVE OBTAINED PMP CERTIFICATION - NO CONTACT HOUR IS NEEDED / ONLY PDUS ARE REQUIRED AND CONTACT HOURS THOSE OBTAINED BEFORE EXAM, WERE FOR APPEARING IN EXAM ONLY, LATER FORGET ABOUT THAT.
