PM Zilla presented me with free content when I completed my PMP. It was a great help abd we have need for such forums that provide an honesty based framework on learning.

Like everyone else I also went to a PMP Prep Course in Mississauga, Canada, and the quality of course, location and instruction was so poor that I along with my friends formed a core group and decided to self-study. We put a lot of effort and I along with my other friend got PROFICIENT in all process groups.

It was during this time, I decided to develop my own course, a course that will deliver value to students. With my experience as Sr. Management Consultant and Speaker, I knew that it will not be a boot camp. How could any institute or instructor cram in over 500 pages of PMBOK in 4-5 sessions? And how could someone retain all this content considering the complexity of the exam?

And came the idea of Educationedge.ca, provide enablement by delivering a course that will lead to writing PMP soon after the course was over and keep course participants focussed and motivated as they moved forward towards the goal of writing PMP. Within 2 courses, the word of mouth spread and people started flocking my course. I would get calls and in no time would have over 10 students ready for each course. I kept my class benchmark at 10 students to ensure quality and one on one attention on students. We built a unique framework towards delivering this course, so much so that my school has maintianed a 100% pass rate. Of the hundreds of folks that trained in last almost 4 years and hundreds of folks passing the exam, we have had only 3 failures.

I feel that we have a need for more institute that provide integrity in training and uphold highest standards built towards ensuring success of the students not their business models. Education must be for enablement, it should simpler, easier and faster.

My success as a trainer came out of learning, continuous improvement, accountability and consistent delivery of courseware. PMP is a certification that will just not add value to your credentials, but if learnt well will lead to demonstration of this learning in turn leading to visibility for you within your organization.
