Passed PMP on 01-Feb-2011

Dear All,

Just thought to share a good news, I passed PMP exam on yesterday (01-Feb-2011) in first attempt.

I finished the exam 30 min before, and then started reviewing marked ones which enabled me to think little more and then adjusted some of the answer. Hope those were correct selection ones!

Here is what I followed:

1. PMBOK 3 times

2. Rita's book 2 times, practiced the entire chapter's question

3. Practiced all 800 questions from pmstudy.com, which was very good for me for the exam

4. Practiced PMZILLA's final PMP 200 touch questions

5. Practiced Oliver Lehman 175 questions

6. Chowdry spread sheet – very good notes, very helpful.

-          30-40 questions were comprehensive, little bit tricky,

-          At least 15 questions were from input/TT/out related; fortunately I had practiced well on this.

-          At least 10 formulated related questions were simpler than I expected, just need to remember the formula then apply basic calculation.

-          Rest were straightforward.

To appear the exam, I believe, below are sufficient:

- Rita's book, PMPBOK (including glossary) for study material.

- practicing all above questions at least twice and scoring over at least 80 in second iteration.

- if you get time then watch some of the YouTube video on CPM calculation, earned value calculation.

All the best those who are planning for the exam or going to take the exam soon!!

I would like to thank PMZILLA for sharing such good and important information on exam. it's really helpful.
