Hi guys, here is a question from the PM Exam Simulator..

 

You are currently performing the Plan quality process for your construction project. You are required to prepare the process improvement plan along with the quality management plan for your project. You intend to use the six Sigma metheodology to help you in the process improvement. Which of the following should you choose for your process improvement plan ?

 

A. DMAIC

B. DMADV

C. TQM

D. PDCA

 

What do you think it is ?

You dont get any question which isnt based on anything outside of PMBOK.

Here is the clue for you.. if you read quality management plan in PMBOK v5.. they mention six sigma in Process improvement plan. Six sigma has two methodology DMAIC & DMADV.

DMAIC is Improving the existing process , DMADV is design related, incorporting quality from design.
