Formal : You prepare a customer Report/Analysis with details OR Specifications, Standards or Legal documents etc
Informal - day 2 day e-mail correspondence
Verbal - your telephonic/hallway conversations etc
Non Verbal - Body language, gestures - Thumbs Up/Down, eye brows/hands movement etc
