Difference between Work Package and Activity

Hi Friends,

    Can you kindly explain the difference between work package and activites? 

Is Acitivity subset of work package?

You create Work package as part of "Create WBS" structure....

If you go by the definition : Work Package is the lowest level of WBS components

work parkage is always NOUN : like

SYSTEM INSTALLATION

SYSTEM TESTING

Under each work package, you will have group of Activities,  which are defined in "Define Activities"

here you break down WORK PACKAGES into activies----these are all verbs---tasks you will do to deliver the deliverable mentioned in work package
