PDUs under Category F - working as a Project Management Practitioner
Hi,
I worked with HCL Technologies from Sept 2010 to Jan 2013 as a Project Manager. My certification cycle is 05th August 2013 to 04th August 2014. How many PDUs I can claim?
As i understand, you can claim only 5 PDUs in one year cycle.
- 2011 (After i got certified) calculates upto 5 months from my date of certification (Aug 2011). I think the eligibility criteria is you should have worked for at least 6 months in one year period as PM. But after my date of certification it calculates only 5 months. Can i claim 5 PDUs for this year?
- 2012 is fine as i can claim 5 PDUs here.
What should i put as start date, end date and no of hours in the claim form?
Thanks,

Since you are working as
Since you are working as project manager on ongoing basis, dont worry too much about these calculations, end of the day you will be able to meet the requirements. Just go ahead and claim the PDUs, I am not even sure if the cycle is from Jan to Dec or from the day you get certified you have to calculate 12 months. Need to check on this point.

PDU Cycle
According to PMI, if you have been working as a project manager (project risk management professional, project scheduling professional, agile certified professional, program manager) for a minimum of 6 months within a 12 month period, you can earn a total of 15 PDUs per cycle if you hold the PMP and/or PgMP credential(s). http://www.pmi.org/Certification/~/media/PDF/Certifications/PDU-Category...
