Hi Guys my LL.

I attended the training for PMP May last year and scheduled exam in August. I rescheduled my exam 3 times for various reason other than studies (please don’t do thatJ). Finally planned it for 5th March and eventually reschedule it twice to take it on 26th March 2012J.

I referred following material and exams :

Books :

PMBOK (read 3 times and memorized 42 processes with definition).

Rita (2 times)

Andy Crowe (only velocitech 1 week free tutorial)

Exams

1)   PmStudy 4:  (84%) PMStudy 1: 72%

2)  Edwel : 66%

3) Exam Central -78% and 84%

4) Head First -- 81%

5) Simplilearn -- 69.23

6) Techfaq360 – 83

7) Rita always between 70 to 90

8) Velocitech – 85+

I did more than 3000 questions J .

Quick points:

Please read PMBOK well and try to understand the concept rather than memorizing it. Please do not rely on any mock test because the questions you get on Real exam are never from any source or repeated. Please be very clear about PMP concepts and prepare well. I would suggest read PMBOK and any supplement book twice, do as many questions as possible from any good sites just to see you understand concepts well or not? and also take 4-5 Full length Mock test to check your temperament and focus  for 4 hour test .

On the exam you will be able to figure out 2 wrong choices from the 4 options and from rest out of 2’s, finding out the rite answer won’t be an issue if you have studied & understood the Processes well.

Please trust your knowledge and instinct while answering the questions coz those are very much situational questions
