I am not PMP for preparing
I am not PMP for preparing for that. Please experienced give comments on below answers
Ans-1. Mitigate because he acted to remove that risk itself.
Ans-2 It goes to Project charger first.
Ans-3 Question is not clear but assuming it is first meeting, it should be for specifications.
Ans-4 Fixed price
Ans-5 Report to 2 bosses
Ans-6 Aquire team support (Question is not clear)
Ans-7 Seller rating system
Ans-8 E-mail from PM
Ans-9 Crashing
Ans-10 Meet with other PM first. Collect the historical data and than commit anything to project sponsor.

Here are my
Here are my explanations:
1. A (The risk is being transfered to third party)
2. A ( These may be high level constraints, assumptions or Risk factors , so intially they will go to Project Charter).
3. B (I think the clarity and the details are missing here, technical documents will be made after the product has been completed, Project Charter is issued by the sponsor normally, so we are left with option B only).
4. A (The "cost risk" factor for the contracter is higher in FP and in FPIF its moderate for the conteacter, in "cost plus" its always the contracter who has least cost risk)
5. A (The main disadvantage of matrix is multiple reporting, two bosses means multiple reporting)
6. C (Acquire team support , I can rather says it should have been team buy in, but since the option available is "Acquire team support"so it makes more sense)
7. C.(I sepcifically do not have a reason for this but I think this process involves you to deal with multiple seller and then choose the best out of them)
8. A (EMail from PM - Work Authorization in this case will flow from a PM)
9. A (Fast- track, the question clearly states "the projecthas fast tracked" , Resource leveling is to bring resources into a level of acceptable work limits, Crashing is not involved here because crashing we there is huge cost involved and resources are moved or hired and that's not mentioned anywhere in the question).
10. B. (in this type of scenario you should meet with the other PM and try to understand why the project was a failure/dropped? This is kind of lesson learned for you).

Dear All, I am also preparing for PMP exam. 1) B. The risk is mitigated. I guess its not transferred as we don’t know with the new subcontractor will actually complete the project or so. Also, is the contract back to back!? 2) B 3) C ( I am not sure but guess its technical documents so that Engineer team can also comment on it. Had it been technical specification then there may not be need of Engineering team) 4) A 5) A. 6) C..as that’s the only option listed 7) A 8) A 9) A 10) A Regards, Rohit

I am confused with choice A
I am confused with choice A and B
acquire team support is not the primary pupose......it can be to free his time then as he cannot do all the work himself., but it definitely gives responsibility and accountability to team members thats why B, i am confused......can some one chip in, those folks who recently cleared PMP, we need help.
i need some more answers......
another question, difference between statement of work and project statement.....
and what does EPV stand for.....

After careful thinking it
After careful thinking it can be either C or A, as both are the objectives for delegation.
I misread C earlier as acquire project team
