It is Weak Matrix
Refer to the PMBOK page 29, "Weak matrices maintain many of the characteristics of a functional organization, and the project manager role is more of a coordinator or expediter than that of a true project manager."

This is very simple and straight forward PMBOK question. Just go to PMBOK 4th edition page 29 which says "Weak matrix maintains many of characteristics of a functional organisation, and the project manager role is more of a coordinator or expediter than that of true project manager".
So answer here is weak matrix. Who so ever thinks answer is other than this, please re-think, digest PMBOK and please don't appear in exam in near future.
Thanks.

See the question first :-
See the question first :- project co-ordinator postion is found in which organization...
There are 3 types of organizations
1. Functional. 2 Projectized 3 Matrix....
Now Week, Strong and Types are the part of Matrix Organizations...and Project Maanger can be co-ordinate..so answer would be Projectized...

matrix question answer
PMBOK guide is the Bible, Whenever you are stuck refer to it.
If you look at the PMBOK4 guide and search for an answer for this question Specifically, It lies:
Page 29
Chapter 2: PROJECT LIFE CYCLE AND ORGANIZTION
Figure 2-8. Weak Matrix Organization
The Second Line has an answer to this Question. I would copy, paste but am afraid of the copyright violation.
So check for your self and it mention the answer of your question as "WEAK MATRIX"
I hope it's explained well.

i dont understand still
i dont understand still becase in the weak matrix, the project manager performs the role as project coordinator but the question is asking about position not role description.

@dinduboy:
Thankyou very much for bringing it one level up.
Well, If you take it in that Scenario then project Coordinator can be a position in any Organization type. Whether It's Matrix, functional or Projectize.
Normally all the Questions Providers are not clear by themselves and the Question quality are also not very good.
Since in doubt, The Experts say that PMBOK guide is the Bible and PMI always Win.
I also tend to agree with you as Normally in NGO's which normally are Project based has a permanent Project Coordinator Position.
But I would say, No matter what the real experience or trend or custom is PMI has to be followed by us.
I hope it's clear now or else we can discuss more...
Kind regards,
