Cleared the PMP exam today and it turned out to be far easier than I thought.
I completed it in 2.5 hours and then spent the rest of the time reviewing .
Preparation :
1. I went through PMBOK once and Rita once.
2. Bought the prepcast simulator of Cornelius Fitchner and did every quiz, Learning Quiz and Mock exam on this.
3. For every wrong question and for every question that i had to guess, I went back to study material to understand it better.
4. Did the PmStudy mock test, Oliver 80 and 175, Edwel mock test.
5. Whenver I had time, I redid the mock test. Initially I expected that this would not be benficial since I had it taken it already and answser it from memory.
But to my suprise, I did not remember the answers for a lot of questions and hence I had to answer again using my knowledge !
5. When I felt I was ready, I bought the SimpliLearn 3 practice tests and got an average score of 80% on it.
Exam Observations :
1.Found Risk and Procurement questions to be a bit difficult. Dont think PMBOK or Rita are suffiicent to answer these questions.
( Or it could be just me not understanding the concept completely). Questions on risk were more on the lines on which strategy should be used and for procurement it was what type of contract should be used.
2.Earned Value , PV , SPI etc related questions were straight forward and involved direct substituion of formulas.
3.A lot of people had commented about the long situational questions. However I did not feel they were long. The max that I saw had 4 lines.
4.Saw a lot of questions on Quality Management and Integrated Change control.
5.Cost of quality, Tuckmann,Crashing,Fast tracking,Control Carts had atleast 2 questions each which suprised me since I did not expect so many questions on these two topics
6.About 50 to 60% of the questions were straight forward questions and did not need much thinking. Was able to answer in 5-10 seconds.
Tips :
1. I gave up answering some questions if it took more than a minute. I marked it and came back in the end.
2. Do not try to solve the question without looking at the options.
3. Got stuck on on some questions where PV,EV and AC were represented using graphs . Take a look at some graph relaed questions before yo go
4.Do not memorize the ITTOs. I wasted a lot of effort initially on getting this right but questions on ITTO were minimal ( 3- 4).
5.If initially you get difficult questions, do not get disheartened. The easy ones are just around the corner !.
Best of luck!

I also experience this problem, i bought whizl*b exam, they have 4 exam (200 question per 1), however the question is repeat and same sequence.
