I cleared my PMP last week with 4 Ps and 1 MP. I wanted to share my lessons learnt with all of you.

Lessons learnt:

1. Thorugh review of PMBOK is a must. But, dont waste too much time on memorizing ITTO. You need to understand key inputs and outputs of all the processes.

 

2. I feel Rita Mulchahy's book and cd are kind of out dated now. I would recommend reading Head First instead to get all your concepts cleared and then read PMBOK at least thrice.

 

3. Attend as many mock tests as you can. Make notes of all your gaps and work on them.

PMStudy - Like everyone says this is the closest to the real test. But it is more difficult than the real exam.

4. Use Rajesh Nair notes and Raga's 355 for review - But start looking at them atleast 2 weeks before the exam. Else you may find them overwhelming.
