Category C PDUs through Self Directed Learning

Hi,


I understand that Cat C PDUs can be earned by reading any PM related books and one can earn a maximum of 30 PDUs in this category in one cycle. Considering this, can one claim all the 30 PDUs by reading a single book if the book reading genuinly took more than 30 hrs for one to read cover to cover?


Is this acceptable by PMI?

 Theoratically you can. but you may not want to take a chance , unless its a known book and really big.
