2 days till my Exam

Hello everyone,

My exam is on 15th and getting nervous.

Studied PMBOK, RITA (3 times).

I wish I started Mock exams early on... I could only finish

Oliver 75 questions - 69%

SCORDO - 1 to 13 (average score 75 to 84%)

PMSTUDY - 74%

PMZILLA (purchased 200 questions) - 64%

HeadFirst (Random 50 to 100 questions)

ExamCentral (Random 50 to 100 questions)

Plan to take Oliver 175 questions and few SCORDO questions tomorrow and review on Thursday

Do you have any advice for me?

Hi Shilpa,

I would like to share Free PMP Mock Test Link here. This link contains lot of Free Resources for PMP like Flash Cards, Practice Questions and Mock Test etc.....! All these resources are freebie and downloadable also. All our questions are from latest PMBoK Guide updated. Hope it helps you.

Last 2 days just focus on your notes, and go through the questions again which you found tough.

I will suggest you to dont do any mock test now (I Think by now u gave Oilver 175 Q Just review if not skip it.

Just read pmbok once & leave it.

Relax a day before exam & your scores are good.

Be confident, becoz it will test ur mental & physical ability also.

So take rest be normal & i hope you will Pass...

Hi Shilpa,

My only suggestion to you is to go through the PMBOK glossary and sharing a link of very informative video, believe me it will clear all your doubts.

Hi Shilpa,

My exam is also on this 15th ... All the best .. your scores are looking good especially the PMZilla 200 tough questions one. Lets see how the day is :)

Friends :-

I have read Headfirst and Rita and reading PMBOK now. Can you suggest the right time to start mock tests and which all tests are good so that I take them?

Rajesh

Hi Rajesh - Im yet to give the exam but i believe you can start with sonme mock tests now. If you have time in hand, you can finish your 1st pass of PMBOK so that you are confident that you have covered all material.

On mock tests, there are several posts on pmzilla. I personally liked Scordo (build my confidence) to start with.

Hi Rajesh,

Your reading sequence seems to be perfect since you have started reading from reference books (Headfirst and Rita) and then moved to PMBOK. I would advise you to read and understand PMBOK nicely, if needed iterate it 2-3 times.

You should aim to go through at least 1500-2000 good questions before you sit for the exam. There are plenty of sites and forums that will provide you with the questions and mock tests. I highly recommend Oliver and Pmzest questions. Among others you can try from these - Christopher Scordo, Pmstudy, Exam Central, Certchamp, Pmexamsimulator, Pmzilla etc. You can start with these and then purchase the one you find most tough and complex. Always consider mock test from learning and never scoring, the more gaps you fine the better it is.

You are moving good and you should attempt PMP exam in next 45 days.

Thank you all for your feedback. Getting started!!! I want to do well on this exam. I am CAPM (4 .5 years ago) certified and wanted to take PMP Exam for quite some time.

Wish you all the Best- as some of fellow PM's have suggested- Take rest the day before.

Dont do something like reading a lot.I have done it once and have failed.

You will do fine!

All the Best!
