Key is PMBOK
The key to success is PMBOK. You should read this book fully and thoroughly to pass the exam. Usually any one book other than PMBOK is enough. Look for your gaps by giving more exams and note each and every question that you gave wrong and try to find out reasons for that. Rita's PM Fast Track software is very good and it can help you without any doubt. I passed my exam few weeks back just reading PMBOK and Rita. The problem is not a new book. I hope this will help.

Kim Heldman
Well, personally i believe in Kim Heldman, as i passed my PMP based on this book. This book is good and i highly recommend to everyone. PMBOK, you must refer and get other details like diagrams, tools . RITA, well it depends on individual. Go ahead with KIM heldman...and success is for sure. her project flow is awesome unlike other books they focus on PM Knowledge Area..here its process driven...

Dear Fishman, I would
Dear Fishman,
I would recommend to read both the books, since I have cleared PMP reading both the books along with PMBOK.
Headfirst is really fantastic book where all your Project Managment concepts will be cleared with examples and small projects Headfirst uses for explaninin the concepts. Headfirst is based on KA same as PMBOK. The illustrations used in Headfirst is simply great which helps you to understand why and when each of ITTO's are and will be used throught out the Lifecycle of the Project.
The Best part of Headfirst is Time Management, Network Analysis is explained in a very simple and step by step method. And by solving thier Ques I am sure you will have a strong concept of Network Analysis and you can answer almsot any question in the exam.
On the contrary KIm Heldman book is based on Process based unlike pMBOK or Headfirst or Rita as all of them are based on Knowledge Area. Kim Heldman book is slightly boring as compared to Headfirst but the content of Kim Heldman is hight quality and the explanations are very good.
The Chapter end questions are very good. The good thing about Kim's Book is since it is process based you can study all the process in Intiating & then all the Planning Process and can understand the flow of processes and then to all process of Executing and so on......
By the end of the book you will have clear idea of all process and how they fit in thier respective Process Area and if you remember Our exam is results are based on Process Area so you wil have a rough idea how much have mastered or understood each process.
In the end I would suggest PMBOK is the mother of all these above books, once you read any of the above mentioned books you should read PMBOK and I am sure you will PMBOK more intresting.
Most of the questions asked in exam are based on PMBOK so reading and understanding PMBOK is very imp and all other books are supplementary to make your base strong before your final exam.
Best Luck Fishman and I am sure you will sucessfully clear the Exam

Now i´m going to get PMBOK to understand every term and word and another book to try to understand in different way the tools and tecnics.
