PMP Cleared on first Attempt

Hi All,

I have passed PMP in my first attempt on Nov 17 2015 with 2BP'S(INITIATING &PLANNING) 3 MP'S in other process groups.

i have prepared for two months.I have read the headfirst PMP & PMBOK one time(Annexure) , PM Pro(Iphone APP) Ahishek Nair notes. This app got Flash cards which helped in revising the concepts  and to refer  ITTO quikcly whenever required.

Especially ,I would like to thank Mr Saket Bansal for his training videos on EVM & NPV & seven quality basic tools . I watched these videos the day before the exam and did some examples. These videos helped me a lot in understanding the concepts thorughly and with that I could solve all EVM questions  & questions on quality control tools.

   Many thanks to Mr Saketh Bansal. Very useful & effective training videos. Saved lot of time.

Only thing , I am not happy about is my profficent levels. In all My Mock exams  I did well in Planning ,Exec, M&C . I am not sure why profficiency level went down in Planning .......:-(

I did the follwoing Mock  exams.

Head first PMP - Got 72%, All cross words, Chapter end exams

Rita Fast Trackes- 66%, All chapter end exams

Oliver   110 out of 175

Oliver - 51 out of 75.

PM Study - 62% - I have taken this test just before two days of the exam. Lost confidence. And thought of rescheduling. The kind of evalution given by PM studys is very helpful & with that I am able to identify my weak areas. 

Fianlly I passed my PMP. Only dissatisaftion in proffieciency levels.

A big kudos to you, please I need your advice I have written the Exam twice and at this point am loosing hope, I used Rita and PMBOK and I have tried different mock with a least score of 67% and highest score of 76% (Head first) yet I failed. Even in Oliver I score 69% in each 75 and 175 Question.

I bought simulator and tried different question yet I couldn't cross the ladder. I have just one more chance to the 3times stipulated within a year by PMI left and just few days to the changes of PMP sysllabus. Although, over a hundred and 50 of my qustions are wordy.

 

 I guess their is a secret to passing PMP Exam. I am still eager to learn because I have to Pass the Exam. What should I do please ?

It is really great to hear that you cleared your PMP certification in just a first attempt at an exam. If you are already not working as a Project Manager then I would advise you to start polishing your skills on project management tools as in most market roles you would require having your hand on some of the project management tools like Asana or TaskQue.
