1000 challenging questions per knowledge area with detailed explanations by Mohit Arora

Hello friends,

I have seen on one of the youtube videos that this book -- 1000 challenging questions per knowledge area with detailed explanations by Mohit Arora is very good. But when I started solving the questions after about 5 months of preparation, I find that there are many mistakes in the book which is shaking my confidence level. There are also a lot of printing mistakes. Can anyone let me know if they feel the same. Thank you so much in advance.

Hi Sirisha,

I would not be able to give you a direct answer as I have not read this book. But I quicky checked Amazon for reviews on this book. I found 2 things:

1. Many readers have similar comments as yours.

2. There are very few review comments - looks like this book is not popular.

If you want to Q from a book, I would recommend these 2:

1. J LeRoy Ward - http://www.pmbypm.com/go/pmp-exam-challenge-j-leroy-ward/

2. Christopher Scordo - http://www.pmbypm.com/go/pmp-exam-prep-questions-answers-explanations-ch...

But I would suggest you to do Q from a good simulator. I have written an article that talks about the reasons for investing in a paid exam - 13 Reasons to Invest in a Paid PMP Practice Exam

In this article, I have explained why you should practice on a simulator. The main reason is that you get the feel of real exam by doing the questions on a simulator.

If you decide to invest in a simulator, then you can read this article to find the Best PMP Exam Simulator

Good luck.

I have not read this book. Gotta try it out, sounds interesting.

I suggest you look for a more credible source and rather correct the mistakes you found on your own as a way of reviewing. - Paul Savramis
